2009 DSRPA CONVENTION & ONE LOFT RACE INFORMATION

The 2009 Dixie Southern Convention Race and Special One Loft races were flown Friday Novemeber 6th from Lebanon, Tn (250 miles), light variable winds along the course with clear skys and mild temperatures. We had 8 birds back on the day from the convention race and NO birds reoported on the day for the Special One Loft race. Day 2, 12 more birds clocked from the convention race and 1 bird was clocked from the Special one loft race.  Day 3 brought no more birds in from the Convention Race, and 1 bird from the One Loft Race. After a lengthy discussion it was decided to close the races. We understand that there are going to be varying opinions as to how this should have been handled, we feel this is the most appropriate solution. We would like to thank everyone who participated, we wish the results would have been better.
